Michelle, Children’s Ministry coordinator at First Evangelical Covenant Church of Grand Rapids recently used the power of push notifications to get last minute nursery volunteers for a Sunday morning.
But, this wasn’t just any Sunday morning, it was the Sunday before Labor Day.
Michelle told us that she needed four volunteers three days before Sunday, so she sent out the following push notification:
Hello there! We need help this Sunday in our Infant Nursery at 9:00am. If you can help contact Michelle
The push notification was linked to a contact form for Michelle within the app and the notification listed her phone number. Within hours she had all 4 volunteers that she needed.
